Winnipeg Transit

Recruitment Process

Our recruitment process is highly competitive and designed so that all applicants can prove their abilities. Winnipeg Transit’s objective is to select people who are best suited to provide transit services in Winnipeg, now and in the future. Decisions are based on the qualifications and suitability of each applicant. The proper organizational/job fit are vital to success in this profession.

To ensure the integrity of the recruitment process, only a result of “successful” or “unsuccessful” will be revealed. Detailed information and scores about test results will not be provided.

Effective January 1, 2016 applicants that are not successful at any point during their attempt will be required to wait 6 months before being eligible to reapply. Winnipeg Transit does not continue to assess unsuitable applicants. This is neither cost-effective nor respectful to that person, knowing that the applicant is no longer moving on in the recruitment process.

Please be aware that e-mail is Winnipeg Transit’s main method of communication.
