When can I use my peggo card?
We are gradually rolling out our peggo card over a period of several months. The roll-out saw Senior fare paying passengers receive their cards beginning July 4, 2016. Full fare and Youth paying passengers were able to purchase and start using their peggo card as of August 8, 2016.
This phased approach is designed to provide a smoother transition to the new system by allowing you to pick up your peggo card at any point after they have been made available and start using it. For a complete list of where to buy your peggo card see our list of retail sales agents.
During the launch you will still be able to use the existing paper-based bus passes and tickets. We encourage you to use up any existing tickets you have before transitioning to your peggo card as it is our intention to set a date when paper tickets will no longer be accepted. At that time the ticket chute will be removed from buses.
Watch for public service announcements informing you of when we will discontinue the sale of paper-based bus tickets and passes.
