Vehicle Identification
Handi-Transit vehicles can be identified by a decal (magnetic or adhesive) affixed to each side and rear of the vehicle.
Always look for the Handi-Transit name plate on the vehicle picking you up.
Handi-Transit Vehicles
Handi-Transit vehicles are designed to carry ambulatory passengers and passengers using wheelchairs or scooters. Eligible Handi-Transit passengers are persons who are legally blind, have a physical disability impairing their mobility and are registered with the Winnipeg Transit Handi-Transit office.
When using Handi-Transit vehicles, remember:
- All Handi-Transit vehicles are designated no smoking at all times (applies to passengers and drivers).
- Handi-Transit passengers are required to be respectful of the vehicle at all times.
- Passengers must not discard garbage or otherwise mistreat the vehicle.
