Routes
A Route
A Winnipeg Transit bus route can be identified by a 2-digit unique number and/or by a route name.
In the space provided, start entering the route number or name. If possible, we will offer suggestions that could finish the route you are entering. If the correct route is offered, you may click on it to select it.
For example:
Route # 15 is the Sargent-Mountain route.
You could enter “15”, “sarg”, or “mountain”.
My Routes
When you hover your cursor over the My Routes button found in the Routes section in the left side bar, a dropdown menu of your saved routes will be displayed along with the Manage my routes option. You can select one of your saved routes for viewing or you can select the option to manage your routes.
There are four options that enable you to manage your saved stops.
Rename
If you would like to change the name, simply click on the text and type in the new name.
Reorder
If you would like to reorder the items in the list, simply hover your cursor over the icon and drag the item to the desired location.
View
Press the View button listed beside an item to view it.
Delete
Press the Delete button listed beside an item to be deleted. Press OK in the confirm window and the item will be removed.
Find a Route
There are two ways to find a route using this option:
- you can use the Find a route by name or number entry field. Enter a route number or route name in this field and then press the Submit button.
- you can use the Find routes near a location entry field. Enter an address, intersection, or landmark in this field and then press the Submit button. A list of routes that service that location will be displayed.
Route List
This option displays a list of all routes. Click on one of the routes to display its route detail information.
