Winnipeg Transit

There is an upcoming schedule change on Apr 12, 2020

Low Income Transit Pass

The launch of the City of Winnipeg’s low income transit pass program has been postponed due to impacts from the necessary response to COVID-19. Once the program is implemented, eligible residents of Winnipeg will be able to purchase adult monthly transit passes at a reduced rate.

The discount will be 30 per cent off the regular monthly adult fare for those who are eligible. The discount will increase to 40 per cent in 2021 and 50 per cent in 2022.

Winnipeg Transit will begin accepting applications for the low income pass program on May 1, 2020. The pass will be available when Winnipeg Transit Customer Service Centres reopen.
