(APR 18/19) Route 16 Selkirk closure
As of Apr 18, 2019 06:21, route 16 is under the effects of a detour. This detour affects the following stops:
- 30331 – Eastbound Selkirk at Battery
- 30497 – Westbound Selkirk at Sgt Tommy Prince
- 30498 – Eastbound Selkirk at Sgt Tommy Prince
Reroutes are as follows:
- Routes 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Selkirk & McPhillips), 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Tyndall Park via Burrows) and 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Tyndall Park via Manitoba) from Selkirk Avenue will reroute following these instructions:
- Travel along Selkirk Avenue and turn north on to Battery Street
- Continue along Battery Street and turn west on to Burrows Avenue
- Continue along Burrows Avenue and turn south on to Sgt Tommy Prince Street
- Continue along Sgt Tommy Prince Street and turn west on to Selkirk Avenue
- Return to regular service
- Routes 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Island Lakes via Southdale Centre), 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Kingston Row), 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Main & Pioneer), 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Osborne Junction), 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Plaza Dr via St. Vital Centre), 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Southdale Centre) and 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to St.Vital Centre) from Selkirk Avenue will reroute following these instructions:
- Travel along Selkirk Avenue and turn north on to Sgt Tommy Prince Street
- Continue along Sgt Tommy Prince Street and turn east on to Burrows Avenue
- Continue along Burrows Avenue and turn south on to Battery Street
- Continue along Battery Street and turn east on to Selkirk Avenue
- Return to regular service
