(MAY 31/20) SB Empress closure

As of May 31, 2020 10:00, routes 20 and 77 are under the effects of a detour. This detour affects the following stops:

  • 10806 – Southbound Empress at St Matthews
  • 10812 – Eastbound Maroons at Empress
  • 10834 – Southbound Empress at Maroons

Reroutes are as follows:

  • Routes 20 (Watt-Academy to Fort & Portage) and 20 (Watt-Academy to Watt & Leighton) from Empress Street will reroute following these instructions:
    • Travel along Empress Street and turn west on to St Matthews Avenue
    • Continue along St Matthews Avenue and turn south on to St James Street
    • Continue along St James Street and turn east on to Maroons Road
    • Continue along Maroons Road and turn south on to Cactus Jack’s Place
    • Continue along Cactus Jack’s Place and turn east on to Jack Blick Avenue
    • Continue along Jack Blick Avenue and turn south on to Empress Street
    • Return to regular service
  • Route 77 (Crosstown North to Polo Park) from Maroons Road will reroute following these instructions:
    • Travel along Maroons Road and turn south on to Cactus Jack’s Place
    • Continue along Cactus Jack’s Place and turn east on to Jack Blick Avenue
    • Continue along Jack Blick Avenue and turn south on to Empress Street
    • Return to regular service
