(MAY 4/21) Selkirk closed between Salter and McGregor
As of May 04, 2021 20:40, route 16 is under the effects of a detour. This detour affects the following stops:
- 30175 – Westbound Selkirk at Salter
- 30176 – Eastbound Selkirk at Salter
- 30196 – Westbound Selkirk at Salter West
- 30197 – Westbound Selkirk at Andrews
- 30198 – Eastbound Selkirk at Salter West
- 30200 – Eastbound Selkirk at Andrews
- 30260 – Westbound Selkirk at McGregor
Reroutes are as follows:
- Routes 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Selkirk & McPhillips), 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Tyndall Park via Burrows) and 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Tyndall Park via Manitoba) from Selkirk Avenue will reroute following these instructions:
- Travel along Selkirk Avenue and turn south on to Salter Street
- Continue along Salter Street and turn west on to Flora Avenue
- Continue along Flora Avenue and turn north on to McGregor Street
- Continue along McGregor Street and turn west on to Selkirk Avenue
- Return to regular service
- Routes 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Island Lakes via Southdale Centre), 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Kingston Row), 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Plaza Dr via St. Vital Centre), 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to Southdale Centre) and 16 (Selkirk-Osborne to St.Vital Centre) from Selkirk Avenue will reroute following these instructions:
- Travel along Selkirk Avenue and turn south on to McGregor Street
- Continue along McGregor Street and turn east on to Flora Avenue
- Continue along Flora Avenue and turn north on to Salter Street
- Continue along Salter Street and turn east on to Selkirk Avenue
- Return to regular service
