U-Pass

Fall 2020 U-Pass

Due to the limited number of on-campus classes being offered by partner universities, the U-Pass program for the Fall 2020 term has been suspended.

Returning students who would have been eligible for a U-Pass should keep their U-Pass peggo cards.

Post Secondary Student Passes offer a number of alternate discounted fare options and can be loaded on the U-Pass peggo card at any Transit peggo sales location or Transit Customer Service Centre.

Students will be required to show their valid student ID to the bus operator when boarding. Transit has temporarily waived the requirement for a Transit U-Pass or Post-Secondary sticker on student photo ID cards for the 2020 Fall Semester.

U-Pass peggo card eligibility is determined by the institution you attend. If your post secondary institution determines that you are no longer eligible, your peggo card will be cancelled.

If you are having issues with your U-Pass peggo card, or if your card was lost or stolen, you will need to contact your student association.

For more information please visit your student association’s website:

In the fall of 2016, the University of Manitoba introduced a U-Pass to all full-time students.
