Contact Winnipeg Transit Plus

Screening for COVID-19 when booking or confirming trips

In order to help prevent the spread of illness during the pandemic, all customers are required to respond to a series of COVID-19 screening questions when contacting the Winnipeg Transit Plus Contact Centre (204-986-5722) to book or confirm trips.

  • You can screen for COVID-19 with our self-screening option, which allows you to respond to the questions using your telephone keypad, or you can provide your responses to a Customer Service Representative.
  • Use the self-screening options for faster service, as you will be able to immediately book or confirm your trip once connected to a Customer Service Representative.

If the screening process determines you are unable to book a trip and you need transport to a health facility, you are advised to contact Health Links – Info Santé for assistance in developing a plan.

Customer are reminded to take advantage of the WTP Automated Service Line at 204-986-5711, where they can confirm and cancel trips 24 hours per day.

Visiting the Transit Plus office

Precautionary measures are in place at 414 Osborne St. to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Customers are required to wear masks at all times and keep a distance from others. A limited number of face masks are currently available at public City-operated facilities where masks are required.

When visiting Transit Plus, in addition to keeping a distance from others and lining up as directed, all customers are asked to follow social distancing measures including:

  • Practice good hand hygiene by washing your hands regularly and refraining from touching your face.
  • Wear a non-medical mask that covers your nose, mouth and chin at all times.
  • Be kind to others who may not be able to wear a non-medical mask.
  • If you are sick; follow advice to isolate and do not take Winnipeg Transit Plus.
